Each year, Puebla City gets decked out to celebrate the anniversary of the historic event that marked the victory of the Mexican army over the French. Puebla’s largest cultural festival features concerts, fairs, exhibitions, music, and artists from a number of countries. There’s a civic festival and a re-enactment of the Battle of Puebla at forts Loreto and Guadalupe.
