This is a space devoted to recovering, promoting, and spreading Isla Cozumel’s cultural and historic heritage. This ecotourism park is located on the southernmost part of the island. Spectacular features include Faro Celarain, a lighthouse whose 133 steps lead to a breathtaking view of the surroundings, and Templo de Caracol, a massive pre-Hispanic structure. Snap a selfie in what is also known as the “last place in Mexico.” Take a catamaran ride around Laguna Colombia, and explore the white sand beaches, such as La Encantada, around the lagoon. If aquatic adventures are your thing, try kayaking or snorkeling to get a glimpse of the underwater treasures filling Arrecife Palancar reef.
