On Constitución Street, next to the church, there’s a short pedestrian walk that ends right in front of Ex Convento del Carmen. Helados Ximitl is located halfway along the way. At his ice cream shop, Gerardo Ximitl experiments with flavors in accordance with the season and his own imagination. Avocado, fruit punch, Sevillian polvorón (sugar cookie) and even candied pumpkin, pinole (corn and spices), and cricket are some of the flavors served here.
