Stroll Down the Iconic Hidalgo Avenue

Hidalgo Avenue is full of colorful old houses, the balconies of which are always sporting flowers. Streetlamps and large flowerpots line the way as the path slowly starts uphill. Take the time to check out Casa Amantolli, a Pueblan craft shop. Ask about the curious mojigangas—the large dolls often seen at town festivals and parades. Here, you’ll find miniature versions of them.
