For over 60 years, Gorditas de Doña Aleja have delighted local and out-of-town diners. Fat cakes called gorditas, made of corn or flour, are toasted and stuffed with pork rinds, poblano pepper strips with cheese, eggs, shredded beef, ground beef, soft cheese, blood sausage, and beans. They also have quesadillas and burritos at very fair prices.
