On this day, people from the surrounding area come down the mountains to offer their products in the market—as you can imagine, the quality and freshness are unbeatable. In addition to vegetables, we suggest picking up some of the locally-made preserved chili peppers and seasonal fruit jams, such as guava, berries, and more. As far as handicrafts go, you will find jewelry made out of seeds and utensils carved from mulberry wood—known for its strength, as well as traditional clothing.
