For the past 30 years, this cultural festival has taken place in the month of July. Its aim is to showcase the traditions, roots and sounds of Mexico’s indigenous people.
Among the activities on offer at this festival is a selection of workshops in pre-Hispanic instruments, a demonstration of danza chichimeca, performances by indigenous musical groups, an exhibition of Otomí traditional medicine, and children’s theater.
