Enjoy the “Un café para tus muertos” (A coffee for your dead) tour, in which this Magical Town’s mansions and monuments to historical figures will be visited. Between legends and historical facts, you will learn a little more about them. Visit cafés, drink coffee and try some of the region’s bread along the way.
On these tours, you will see how people wear masks that they paint themselves in traditional workshops run by the apprentices of Hernán Soumaya, a famous artisan mask maker.
This Xantolo festivity is accompanied by dance, music, and the traditional orange color.
