Tequila Volcano

Currently, it’s an inactive stratovolcano and is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to the surrounding mountain system.

The Tequila volcano is 4,921 feet high, forms part of the Transversal Volcanic System, and is one of 600 volcanoes located in Jalisco. It currently is an inactive stratovolcano and is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to the surrounding mountain system.
