Sunday Market

This is they day the fog conjures up colorful fruit and market stalls. The “tianguis” or town market sets up along the main square, selling a little bit of everything: gourds, mushrooms, a variety of bananas, and wool rebozo shawls dyed with Cochineal bugs. Pastries are piled into sweet mountains, the elderly offer up remedies for all that ails you, and the air sends out whiffs of coffee and cinnamon.
