Señor de la Misericordia Parish Church

You will find the Church of the Lord of Mercy in the town center. It was built in 1908 by the British architect Louis Long. It is to him we owe the neo-gothic appearance and its walls’ prominent brick finish. The outbreak of the Revolution didn’t allow Long to finish his work, so the project was put on hold until 1946, the year it was completed.
