Nuestra Señora de Belén Parish Church

This church boasts the oldest bell in the state of Aguascalientes. The interior is made up of one nave lined with Ionic columns. Beneath the building, there is a network of underground tunnels.

The church features an articulated Christ figure that is around 500 years old. Its teeth, ribs, and skull are made from human bones. It also has a picture gallery displaying the work of painter Miguel Cabrera and other colonial-era artists. Take a good look at El verdadero retrato de la Virgen Santísima de la Tristeza and La Circuncisión a Jesús, both considered unique in the Americas.
