This place is named after the republican hero who protected president Benito Juárez as he passed through La Laguna, during the time of the French Intervention. Although modest, this space is filled with curious objects and has the feel of an antiques gallery.

Its pieces are incredibly diverse: old coins, 19th-century work tools, ploughs, coal irons, weapons, out of service appliances, etcetera…

A skull, discovered on an indigenous burial site inside a cave close to Viesca, really stands out. As does a wooden canteen in the shape of a small, flat barrel, and a crude blade used to chop tobacco and make cigars.
