Isla Pájaros Protected Natural Area
This island is a haven for flamingos, pelicans, herons, and other birds. Because it is a protected area, access only by foot traffic is permitted. However, there are two fantastic lookout points that provide great views of the enormous variety of birdlife. The destination is only 30 minutes from Holbox.

Because there aren’t any restaurants or shops on the island, we recommend taking a snack and a bottle of water on your outing.
