Straw Handicrafts
One of the artisan activities that is traditionally practiced in Comonfort and the surrounding villages is the creation of straw handicrafts. Visit the Corredor Artesanal de Camacho (Camacho Handicrafts Market) where you can purchase objects made with this material such as baskets, lampshades, sculptures, hampers, and tortilla baskets, among others.
Take a turn around Orduña and Orduña de Arriba, only a few minutes away from the center of Comonfort, where you will find most of the people who work using this technique.
