On foot or by bike, roam the town of San Miguel’s streets, and come across its 30 murals painted by Mexicans and others. This is PangeaSeed Foundation’s public art project called Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans that started in 2015. They address environmental issues affecting the oceans and their related ecosystems.
Visit the Reloj Público, a clock tower built in 1910, and nibble on a crunchy, crepe-like marquesita stuffed with cheese and hazelnut cream or ice cream in Parque Juárez. Stroll the Malecón boardwalk, admire the sculptures, and enjoy the chance to spend the evening drinking in the calm and the beautiful downtown glowing with lights.
