Bodegas Ferriño

Just like in Parras, in Cuatro Ciénegas there are also vineyards with more than 150 years of tradition behind them, in fact, America’s oldest wines were planted in this state. In this Magical Town’s vineyards, you can learn about the process of vine production, enjoy tastings, and even take some wine home with you.

In the 19th century the Italian Miguel Ferriño arrived in the town, who in 1860 had begun a unique tradition of sweet wine, which a century and a half later would result in Bodegas Ferriño and Vinos Vitali. The first has achieved popularity thanks to its Sangre de Cristo wine, although their muscatel, sherry and dry wines, as well as their brandy, also stand out. The second concentrates on sweet wine, but is also distinguished by its selection of port wine, sweet rosé and red wine.
