Admire the Misol-Há Waterfall

Thirteen miles south of the Magical Town of Palenque is the Misol-Há Waterfall, a natural wonder that arose from the confluence of the Paxilhá and Tulijá rivers. About 82 feet tall, this waterfall harmoniously combines the elements of water and jungle. You can also access the cave behind the waterfall or swim in the natural pool at the bottom.

If you enjoy adventures in nature, you could stay the night in the very clean cabins with fans, mosquito nets and hotel and restaurant services. Everything is managed by an indigenous Chol cooperative. You could also take one of the tours they offer, which include the Mirador, the tilapia farm, and the cave.
