Jornadas Alarconianas Literary Festival

These are dedicated to one of the geniuses of the dramatic literature of the Siglo de Oro (Golden Age), Juan Ruiz de Alarcón, of New Spain. This festival in his honor began in 1987, and ever since the city’s main buildings and squares are brought to life with infinite plays.
