Feast Day of the Patron Saint
Fiesta del Señor del PerdónThe Lord of Forgiveness, the image most revered by Ixtapan de la Sal’s faithful, has his feast day on the second Friday of Lent.
Celebrations begin with a novena attended by residents of Ixtapan and neighboring towns.
The town fair is held as part of the celebrations, with rides, culinary fairs, and fireworks.
