Festival de la Tortuga Marina
Towns from all over the Riviera Maya and Cancun participate in the Sea Turtle Festival. There are activities such as kite flying contests, sand sculpture competitions, beach cleanups, environmental education workshops, and the release of sea turtle hatchlings on Xcacel beach, 9.9 miles north of Tulum.
