Temple of Saint Sebastian

Templo de San Sebastián

See the church where sacred relics are kept.

This building was built in the 18th century by Augustinian monks, with Fray Servando Alonso Poca Sangre being the parish priest. In the church, you’ll be able to see the image of the town’s patron saint. It’s neoclassic in style with baroque decoration.

Another church you should check out is the Temple of Real del Alto, where you’ll find a precious wooden neoclassic altarpiece. The main altar holds the image of the Holy Virgin of the Rosary of Real Alto.
