Learn about the process of creating rebozo shawls and necklaces from silkworm cocoons. You can also see silkworms being raised. This craft is taught in Casa de Piedra, the house where General Lázaro Cárdenas once slept.
Another spot to visit is Francisco Sarabia. In this town, they design jewelry, hats woven from palm fronds, and corn husk dolls, although the main local product is the fine silk and synthetic silk rebozos.
