Savor the Produce of the Becerra Vineyard

The Becerra family has long farmed the valley’s well-known crops: tomatoes, raspberries and strawberries, concentrating on organic varieties. In the middle of their 250 hectares acres, there was an area which for various reasons had never been planted. A few years ago, their organic certifiers told them to plant something there and they settled on grape vines, which soon flourished. “We saw that the valley had excellent conditions for wine production”, comments Sabino Becerra.

In June 2018, in their Vicente Guerrero store, they were able to produce their first bottles: a red and a rosé, both a mixture of half Cabernet Sauvignon and half Merlot. Both carry the label Prestigio de Becerra.
