Cool Down in the Water Parks
There are more than 50 water parks in Hidalgo, some with natural hot springs. The ones closest to Huichapan are El Pathecito and Paraíso. Carrizal del Lago has hotels with a large pool and a wading pool with hot springs water. El Géiser is rustic in style and, as the name suggests, has a steam geyser. And Tecozautla, whose hot springs waters are famous, is also set in a quiet town with an old Franciscan church.
