Hang Out on Chametla’s Beaches
The Gulf of California starts here. It is thought that the first expedition led by Hernán Cortés reached this area.
This is the beginning of the Gulf of California. It is also believed that this area—in what is now Sinaloa—is where Hernán Cortés arrived on his first expedition to start his conquest of the region. In addition to climbing the stairs to the lookout point, you can go fishing on a small boat or feast on seafood freshly caught among the trees.

This is also a great spot for bird-watching.
