In Jardín Morelos you can find bass drum musicians who will keep your spirits up for as long as you ask them to. They all play with firm hands and attentive ears, since they know they are in a melodious land. Nochistlán is a place filled with jaraberos (traditional musicians), mariachis, and Sinaloan bands, although you’re unlikely to come across either of the last two on the streets if it isn’t a holiday, because if they aren’t recording music, they are usually on tour.
