Climb and Camp in Cañón El Tajo

At the eastern peak of the Sierra Juárez range is this canyon. The highest point is crowned by a 2,000 feet monolith which people say looks like a huge white throne. In the same area, there are climbing routes, trails which are perfect for hikers, and camping zones where you can stargaze to your heart’s content.
