Three places you must visit to see the incredibly original handicraft products from Múzquiz.
Visit Santiago Vásquez Montalvo’s leather goods workshop. Vásquez Montalvo is an artisan who makes saddles, leather chaps, knife sheaths and other cattle herding accessories. His pieces are commissioned from Saltillo all the way to San Antonio, Texas.
To see what is made with marble and fluorite, visit Artesanías de Fluorita, where Florentino García manufactures tables, murals, gravestones and kitchens.
Arte en Piel is the brand where Larissa Rodríguez tans goat hides, and weaves mane and tail hair from horses to make bracelets, earrings, belts, tablet cases, and armbands, amongst other things. To see her products, go into the hotels in the center.
