Head to Los Naranjos (3 miles away), where you can purchase wood-carved handicrafts, particularly utilitarian and decorative items.
If you go to Tecomatepec (less than 3 miles away), you’ll find the famous wide-mouthed, spherical jugs for water or pulque. If you get the chance, talk to the artisans who will explain and demonstrate how they make them.
At the handicrafts market, you’ll find many bath articles and objects.
